Le mari de la « go bobaraba » ivoirienne Eudoxie Yao a annoncé la nouvelle sur les réseaux sociaux. Il a posté quelques photos de leur départ avec la légende suivante : « Destination Cameroun ». Un post qui a créé une vive polémique au sein de ses followers et des supporters du Syli national de Guinée. Il est reproché à « Grand P » d’avoir porté une malchance à cette sélection, en 2019, en Égypte, où l’équipe a été éjectée en huitième de finale par l’Algérie (0-3).
« J’ai commencé à prendre peur encore, parce que la dernière fois, quand tu es allé pour soutenir le Syli national en Égypte, il a perdu. Ça va, c’est juste une blague », a ironisé Bouba Sow, avec des émojis mort de rire. « Dis aux joueurs que nous voulons la coupe », a fait savoir Diadia Mishel. « Simbo, cette fois-ci ne dit pas combien de buts pour la Guinée. Reste dans la chambre et travaille pour nous, car il y a d’autres simbo (marabouts) au Cameroun. Pardon, j’ai peur.
