Les questions relatives à la sécurité et à la stabilité du Mali ont été au centre de l’échange entre Assimi Goïta et Delmi Boudjemaa. Le président de la Transition malienne a reçu le président du Comité de suivi de l’Accord pour la paix et la Réconciliation nationale issu du processus d’Alger, ce lundi, à Bamako, au Mali.
L’Algérie poursuit son rapprochement avec le Mali. Ce lundi 24 janvier, Delmi Boudjemaa, président du Comité de suivi de l’Accord pour la paix et la Réconciliation nationale issu du processus d’Alger a exprimé le soutien d’Alger à Bamako. « L’Algérie attache beaucoup d’importance à la sécurité, à la stabilité, à l’unité du Mali, à la préservation de son intégrité territoriale mais également à l’indépendance de sa décision politique », a-t-il déclaré devant la presse locale, après son échange avec le président de la Transition malienne, Assimi Goïta.
Rôle de facilitateur
A en croire la Présidence malienne, l’émissaire algérien était « porteur d’un message du Président de la République algérienne Démocratique et Populaire, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune ». Après les sanctions de la CEDEAO, le Président algérien a affirmé être disponible pour aider le Mali à mettre en place un plan de sortie de crise. Pour l’émissaire Algérien, « nous avons estimé que le moment est venu, après les sanctions extrêmement dures qui ont été imposées au Mali, de faire en sorte que nous puissions jouer ce rôle de facilitateur qui permet aux frères africains de se retrouver autour d’une table et de dialoguer sereinement sur la meilleure manière d’envisager les problèmes et de les régler », a ajouté M. Boudjemaa.
Pour rappel, le 6 janvier, le ministre malien des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale, Abdoulaye Diop, a été reçu en audience par le Président Abdelmadjid Tebboune, à Alger. D’après nos confrères d’Algérie Service Presse, les échanges entre les deux hommes avaient tourné autour « des efforts pour ramener la paix et la stabilité » au Mali.
