Les prix des matières premières ont connu une hausse au mois de novembre 2021 à l’exception de celui du pétrole brut. En effet, selon l’Ansd le riz a coûté 176,5 FCFA/KG au mois sous revue contre 169,6 FCFA/KG le mois précédent, soit une hausse de 4,1% en variation mensuelle. Pour le maïs, le prix est passé de 536,6 US cents / Boisseau au mois d’octobre à 570,9 US cents / Boisseau au mois suivant soit une augmentation mensuelle de 6,4%. Comparé au prix enregistré au mois de novembre 2020 (415,6 US cents / Boisseau) l’on note une hausse de 37,4%.
Concernant le sucre, le prix est de 19,7 New York – cents/lb n°11 au mois de novembre contre 19,6 New York – cents/lb n°11 le mois précédent traduisant une augmentation de 0,5% en variation mensuelle. Par rapport à la période correspondante de l’année 2020 où le coût du sucre était de 14,9 New York – cents/lb n°11, l’Ansd relève une hausse de 32,2%.
Pour le coton, le prix est de passé de 117,4 US cents/lb à 126,5 US cents/lb soit une progression mensuelle de 7,8%. Comparé à celui de l’année précédente (77,7 US cents/lb), l’Agence nationale de la statistique et de la démographie relève une hausse 62,8%.
En revanche, le prix du pétrole brut a connu une baisse de 3,0% en rythme mensuel en passant de 83,5 US $/baril au mois d’octobre 2021 à 81,0 US $/baril au mois de novembre suivant soit une bai. Par rapport au mois de novembre 2020 durant lequel le prix était de 42,7 US $/baril, il y a une hausse de 89,7%.
