Dans le cadre de ses activités artistiques, la maison de la Culture Douta Seck de Dakar a gratifié les férus de la musique d’un mini concert animé par le groupe Suuxat, une véritable pépinière d’une bande d’amis qui produisent un mélange électrique de Jazz blues Rock Mbalax sur toute sa diversité. Quel est ce groupe qui fait autant de sensation sur la scène musicale Sénégalaise ?
Créé il y a deux ans à Dakar, le groupe Suuxat reste aujourd’hui l’un des groupes les plus vus au Sénégal avec un fond musical très originale appelé « Kandang » groove très authentique mélangé par les rythmes du terroir qui définit le pont entre rootsité et rocksité.
Composé de huit magiciens venus de diverses nationalités africaines et européennes, asiatiques, ils ont tous le désir de faire de la musique un facteur d’unité et de rassemblement.
Le groupe a vu le jour en novembre 2019, il regorge d’un mélange de funk, rock, blues, mbalax, jazz offrant des sonorités particulières et envoûtantes qui dépassent nos frontières. Ce weekend, sur la mythique scène de la maison de la culture Douta Seck, le groupe a complètement séduit les mélomanes devant un public de connaisseurs qui vivaient avec ferveur et délicatesse les belles mélodies envoyées par de véritables requins sur scène de manière ludique dans une ambiance phénoménale et captivante.
Selon le prometteur Issa Dial, « le seul objectif du groupe c’est de vendre la destination Sénégal à travers la musique mais aussi de prendre sa place sur la scène musicale africaine voire mondiale », nous confie Issa Dial, l’initiateur du groupe.
Le groupe se distingue des autres formations par son charisme même si ses membres n’ont pas encore une célébrité grandissante mais ces derniers donnent une bonne galerie de chansons magnifiques avec des chœurs sublimes dans une maitrise musicale fabuleuse et une section rythmique à toute épreuve orchestrée par des mélodies riches et variées avec des échappées vers d’autres styles qui nous donnent la chaire de poule.
SOUXAT aborde des thèmes liés au respect de l’environnement en langues locales. En attendant la sortie de leur premier album, le groupe est sollicité partout à travers le monde pour animer des concerts dans les plus grandes scènes de la planète.
