C’est à peine forcer le trait que de dire qu’il suffit qu’un grand blond baraqué débarque à l’aéroport de Bamako pour déclencher un branle-bas de combat du côté de l’ambassade de France et des services qui lui sont attachés !
Les officiels ne sont pas les seuls, toute la presse traque « des blancs » qui auraient été aperçus au centre du Mali à Mopti, à Sévaré, Bandiagara ou encore au Nord, à Tombouctou, aux côtés des forces armées maliennes pour en déduire que Wagner serait déjà déployée. C’est un peu vite oublier que cette société militaire privée (SMP) recrute au sein de diverses nationalités, dont des Syriens, des Libyens, possiblement des Algériens, selon certaines sources, et pourquoi pas des Centrafricains qu’elle a formés. Autant de mercenaires capables de se fondre dans la mosaïque malienne sans attirer les regards. Si Wagner souhaite entretenir le flou sur sa présence, elle aurait tort de déployer sur le terrain malien des grands blonds avec des rangers noires !
