Coumba Gawlo Seck fait son grand retour, avec un clip hors du commun « Tek Gui ». Le décor, la nature verdoyante, les chutes d’eau et de tout de blanc vêtue, une image qui symbolise la renaissance. Ainsi, la diva rend un bel hommage à son défunt père Laye Bamba Seck, empreint d’émotion, de nostalgie, d’amertume, mais aussi de reconnaissance. Sur la plateforme YouTube, la chanson a déjà enregistré plus d’un demi-million de vues en moins de 24 heures.
Comme annoncé il y a quelques jours, Coumba Gawlo Seck, longtemps absente de la scène musicale, en raison de problèmes de santé, fait son grand retour. Apparemment, la diva n’a rien perdu de l’éclat sublime de sa voix d’or. Son nouveau clip « Tek Gui » (Le silence, en langue wolof), est un chef d’œuvre, qui a été réalisé dans un décor angélique. Avec un grand piano au milieu de la nature verdoyante, embellie par les rayons de soleil, le ruissèlement des chutes d’eau, l’artiste, vêtue en tout blanc, tente de trouver les mots justes, pour rendre un hommage à son père Laye Bamba Seck, décédé en 1997.
« Avec plaisir et fierté, je vous invite à regarder ma nouvelle vidéo Tek Gui en hommage à mon père. Merci à vous tous pour vos prières et votre soutien. Vous me verrez désormais à l’avenir jouer au piano en chantant », a écrit Coumba Gawlo Seck, sur son compte Instagram. Ce qui voudrait dire que la diva ne s’était pas complètement retirée du monde de la musique. Si elle ne chantait plus, en raison de problèmes de corde vocale, elle a néanmoins appris à jouer du piano.
A noter que la chanson « Tek Gui » est tirée du dernier album de Coumba Gawlo Seck, « Terrou Waar » (un mot utilisé en wolof pour dire terroir en français, ndlr), classé, un mois après sa sortie, en décembre 2019, par ITunes, dans le Top 10 des meilleurs albums au monde. Le clip de la chanson a déjà enregistré plus d’un demi-million de vues en moins de 24 heures sur la plateforme de vidéo YouTube.
