Le forum des pionniers du Sénégal organisé en collaboration avec l’alliance nationale pour la cause palestinienne et l’association des imams et prédicateurs du Sénégal, s’est ouvert le lundi 29 mars 2022, à Dakar. Il est axé sous le thème de « Dakar à Jérusalem ».
Cette rencontre qui a réuni des acteurs qui luttent pour la cause palestinienne, a permis aux participants venus des pays comme la Palestine ,le Maroc , la Mauritanie, et d’autres pays de la sous-région de réaffirmer leur engagement à soutenir la Palestine.
Mame Birame Diop, membre de l’alliance pour la cause palestinienne a affirmé que les palestiniens souffrent au même titre que les ukrainiens. C’est pour cela qu’il a invité l’Etat du Sénégal à prendre sa responsabilité et à soutenir le peuple palestinien qui souffre le martyr de 1948 à nos jours. « Rien que la semaine passée, l’Etat apartheid d’Israël a démoli des maisons appartenant aux peuples palestiniens sous prétexte qu’ils étaient des activistes », fait-il savoir.
De plus, il interpelle l’Etat du Sénégal qui dirige, au niveau des Nations Unies, le comité des droits inaliénables du peuple palestinien à s’engager pour la cause palestinienne. Pour le défenseur de la paix en Palestine, le choix porté sur le Sénégal n’est pas fortuit .Il rappelle que, depuis plus de 40 ans, « le Sénégal dirige le comité droit inaliénable du peuple palestinien et demeure toujours une terre d’accueil pour les palestiniens ».
Prenant la parole, l’ambassadeur de l’Etat de Palestine au Sénégal, Safwat Ibraghith, s’est félicité de ce forum de haut niveau consacré entièrement à la Palestine.
