Ainsi, selon ce sondage, 45 % des électeurs pensent qu’ils ne se déplaceront pas le 10 avril, un chiffre deux fois plus élevé que le taux d’abstention de 2017. « Plus qu’un désintérêt pour la chose politique, c’est sans doute un malaise face à une campagne électorale polluée par des débats nauséabonds et une insatisfaction face à l’offre proposée qu’illustre ce chiffre inquiétant », analyse Jeune Afrique qui regrette la politique hostile envers les étrangers.
C’est donc le leader de la France Insoumise (FI), Jean-Luc Mélenchon, qui arrive en tête des intentions de votes du sondage Ifop-JA avec 36%. Le président sortant, quant à lui, ne recueillerait que 27%. Les autres candidats, en revanche, se détachent nettement.
Pour le magazine panafricain, « les Français issus de l’immigration africaine penchent fortement à gauche » et que le sondage est « un camouflet pour les candidats des grands partis que furent Les Républicains ou le Parti socialiste, complètement démonétisés ».
