Le Premier ministre mauritanien, Mohamed Ould Bilal, a présenté, mardi soir, la démission de son gouvernement au président du pays, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani. L’annonce a été faite par la télévision officielle mauritanienne.
La démission du Premier ministre et de son gouvernement intervient quelques jours après un discours du président mauritanien, dans lequel il a fortement critiqué le rendement du gouvernement,
« La présidence reçoit quotidiennement de très nombreux messages émanant de citoyens qui lui soumettent des problèmes simples qui auraient pu être solutionnés au niveau des ministères et des administrations publiques. », a déclaré Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, lors d’un discours prononcé à l’occasion de la cérémonie de remise des diplômes à une promotion de cadres de l’École nationale d’administration (publique), jeudi dernier, dans la capitale, Nouakchott.
