Après un bénéfice de après impôts 5,291 milliards de FCFA (7,936 millions d’euros) en 2019, la société ivoirienne des tabacs (SITAB) a consolidé sa rentabilité au terme de l’exercice 2020 avec un profit de 8,542 milliards de FCFA (12,814 millions d’euros).
Entre 2019 et 2020, la SITAB a augmenté son bénéfice de 3,251 milliards de FCFA en valeur absolue et 61,44% en valeur relative. Cette entreprise s’écarte ainsi des exercices difficiles de 2017 et 2018 durant au terme desquels, elle avait enregistré des pertes respectives de 4,581 milliards de FCFA et 2,295 milliards de FCFA.
Pour sa part, le chiffre d’affaires de la société a connu une hausse de 21,538 milliards de FCFA à 116,358 milliards de FCFA contre 94,820 milliards de FCFA en 2019. 99,39% de ce chiffre d’affaires est constitué des ventes de marchandises à 115,654 milliards contre 477millions pour les produits accessoires, 173millions pour les autres produits et 54 millions pour les travaux et services rendus.
Les achats de marchandises et variation de stock se sont établis à 105,381 milliards de FCFA contre 85,697 milliards de FCFA en 2019 (+22,96%). Les services extérieurs ont été réduits de 27,33% avec une réalisation de 2,666 milliards de FCFA contre 3,669 milliards de FCFA en 2019. Mais, globalement, les charges d’exploitation de la SITAB ont évolué de 20,01%, passant de 91,259 milliards de FCFA en 2019 à 109,526 milliards de FCFA un an plus tard.
La valeur ajoutée de la société a fortement progressé de 92% à 6,831 milliards de FCFA contre 3,349 milliards de FCFA en 2019. Une légère hausse de 6 millions de FCFA est notée concernant les charges de personnel qui se situent à 2,446 milliards contre 2,452 milliards au 31 décembre 2019. Quant à l’excédent brut d’exploitation, il s’est établi à 4,385 milliards de FCFA contre 1,478 milliard de FCFA en 2019 (+296%). Le résultat d’exploitation suit la même tendance à 4,638 milliards de FCFA contre 1,478 milliard de FCFA en 2019 (+213%).
