À moins d’un an d’importantes échéances électorales, le Premier ministre malien, Moctar Ouane, a présenté vendredi la démission de son gouvernement. Mais, le président de la transition malienne, Bah Ndaw, a signé samedi un décret reconduisant Moctar Ouane au poste de Premier ministre. Il est chargé de former un nouveau gouvernement de « large ouverture ».
Le Premier ministre de la transition malienne, Moctar Ouane, a présenté, vendredi 14 mai, la démission de son gouvernement et a été chargé de former un nouveau cabinet de « large ouverture », dans un climat social dégradé et à moins d’un an d’importantes échéances électorales. Mais, il a été immédiatement reconduit dans ses fonctions, à travers un décret signé samedi par le président de la transition malienne, Bah Ndaw.
« Le Président de la transition me fait l’insigne honneur de me reconduire au poste de Premier ministre chargé de former un nouveau gouvernement. Une confiance renouvelée à laquelle je suis sensible et pour laquelle je lui exprime toute ma gratitude », a réagi Moctar Ouane qui avait présenté vendredi sa démission. « Les défis à venir seront relevés par une équipe qui aura comme leviers l’engagement patriotique, la compétence et le sens du devoir national accompli », a indiqué Moctar Ouane.
Le Premier ministre Moctar Ouane est chargé de former un nouveau gouvernement de large ouverture en tenant compte de certaines recommandations du président Bah Ndaw, qui a écouté la classe politique, les forces vives et les leaders religieux la semaine dernière. « Le Premier ministre vient de commencer les consultations pour la formation de la nouvelle équipe gouvernementale », a confirmé un proche de M. Moctar Ouane.
Par ailleurs, un calendrier électoral vient d’être annoncé, avec un 1er tour d’élections présidentielle et parlementaires, le 27 février 2022, ainsi qu’un référendum constitutionnel le 31 octobre précédent. Toutefois, le doute persiste quant à leur capacité à tenir leur programme, a fortiori dans un contexte où les violences terroristes dans le septentrion, mais également des contestations politiques.
