Au Burkina Faso, sept Volontaires pour la défense de la patrie (VDP, supplétifs de l’armée) et trois civils, ont perdu la vie samedi, respectivement, dans une embuscade dans la province du Soum (nord) et dans une explosion d’une mine, dans la localité de Titao.
Selon des informations de l’Agence d’information du Burkina (AIB) relayées ce lundi par l’agence Anadolu, l’équipe de volontaires qui rentrait d’une patrouille à Sollé a été prise en tenaille par des tirs d’un groupe armé, tuant sept parmi eux. Dans la même journée, une femme et ses deux enfants à bord d’une charrette à traction asine ont sauté sur une mine artisanale, à Dougouri, secteur 1 de Titao, tuant les trois occupants.
Pour rappel, les attaques de groupes armés dans la province du Loroum ont connu une recrudescence depuis décembre 2021, selon l’AIB qui souligne que le 8 février 2022, des groupes armés ont sommé plusieurs villages de la commune de Sollé de déguerpir.
